The property is entirely forested and rises from an elevation of 1033 feet along the south side of Berkshire Trail (Route 9) to an elevation of 1270 feet at the highest point. There are two plateaus at that height with commanding view of the village of Cummington, located on the north side of Berkshire Trail. The property has several woods roads that are used by snowmobiles in the winter and hikers the rest of the year. The wooded borders of the property are blazed with blue paint, and the trails are blazed with white paint. The forest management plan describes a forest of medium age dominated by northern hardwoods and hemlock. While much of the frontage is steep off the road there are access points at the Eastern and Western ends of the Northern border where the property is more accessible.
